Saving up for something big

Ok, so you're saving up for (or have already bought) something big like a house or a car and you want to trim down some of your spending to help yourself along.

If you haven't already done so, you should set up a budget in Cashcow and start tracking your spending. The whole point to this is that once you know where your money is going it's easier to know what you can cut back on. Some of the ways Cashcow can help you identify items you can cut back on are:

You can simply look through your expenses on the spending screen and note down the items that you can cut back on like coffee.

You can look through the top 5 expenses on the overview screen and see if you've been spending money on items you could do without. Make a mental note to skip similar items the next time you encounter them.

You can use the search feature to look for items that you can cut back on.

The really important part is to start tracking your spending so you know where your money goes. Best of luck!
